ad creative testing
what creative testing is, and when it pays.
this page exists because people search for the category, not the studio. if you already know what you need, start a proof set.
the short version
creative testing is the practice of putting several distinct creative concepts into a controlled paid-social test, reading which one earns attention, and only then committing production budget to it. the point is sequencing. most brands commission the shoot first and find out afterwards whether the idea was right.
when it is worth doing
- you are about to spend four figures or more on a shoot and the concept is not settled
- your account has plateaued and every new ad is a variation of the same idea
- you have many skus, prints or colorways and cannot shoot them all
- you are entering a new audience and your existing creative does not translate
when it is not
if you already have a concept that works and you simply need more volume of it, this is the wrong spend. so is a product dominated by dense type, tiny logos, reflective packaging or complex hand interaction, where synthetic production struggles to hold the detail. we will tell you that before you pay rather than after.
how a proof set works
- you send the product page, high-resolution assets, the audience and any brand references.
- we pull 10 distinct proofs, read frame by frame for product fidelity and paid-social usefulness.
- you run them in a controlled test and read the signals that matter to your account.
- the concept that wins gets a shot-by-shot brief so a real creator can reproduce it.
what it costs
$750 USD for a set of 10 proofs covering up to two products. first delivery in 3 to 5 business days. paid-media spend and human creator production are not included, and no performance outcome is guaranteed.
synthetic proofs and real creators
synthetic production is a prototyping layer, not a replacement. it is how you find out which idea deserves a real creator, a real location and a real budget. once you know, the shoot is a better investment because it is no longer a guess.
